Scaffolding Design Services

Scaffolding Design & Documentation Services — NSW

We design scaffolding from the site, not from behind a desk. Our team are experienced scaffolders and drafters — we've built what we draw, and we draw what we build. That means when you hand our plans to your scaffolding crew, they work. No surprises with wall recesses, stud distances, or access issues — because we've already accounted for them.

Whether it's a house, townhouses, a duplex, an apartment block, or a large commercial project, we produce detailed bay-by-bay scaffold designs. Clean drawings, simple material lists, and layouts that make sense on site.

What We Deliver

Our design service covers the full documentation package — not just drawings. We provide scaffold layout plans overlaid on your floor plans with clear colour coding so everything is easy to read and interpret on site. We produce elevation drawings with general notes covering bracing, guardrails, corner treatments, tie-in locations, and all the standard provisions you'd expect under AS/NZS 1576 and AS/NZS 4576.

Beyond layout drawings, we prepare methodology statements that cover the full erection and dismantle sequence, tailored to each job's specific requirements — public interfaces, vehicle access, pedestrian routes, after-hours staging, hoarding, and anything else that needs to be addressed.

We also produce hoarding drawings, staged erection drawings, as-built records, work drawings for ongoing scaffold modifications, safety manuals, and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS). If your project needs it documented, we can do it.

Event & Temporary Structures

We provide design and documentation services for events and temporary installations. This includes installation drawings and load calculations for props, stages, lighting rigs, and artistic installations. Whether it's a festival stage, a public art piece, a corporate event build, or a temporary structure that needs engineering sign-off, we produce the drawings and calculations to get it approved and built safely.

If your event or installation involves temporary works that need to be documented, certified, or submitted to council — we can handle the full package.

Engineer Design & Certification

We work with a network of employed and collaborating structural engineers who review and certify our scaffold designs and temporary structure calculations. Our engineer sign-off process covers structural loading conditions, load paths, tie patterns, and supporting elements — all verified against SafeWork NSW requirements. A site inspection is undertaken to confirm the structure has been constructed in accordance with the reviewed design before final certification is issued.

This isn't a rubber stamp. Our engineers trust our work because we deliver it accurately and completely, every time. That relationship matters to us, and it shows in what we produce.

Who We Work With

We provide scaffolding design, temporary structure documentation, and event engineering services to builders, principal contractors, scaffolding companies, property developers, event producers, and facility owners across New South Wales. Our projects range from residential renovations and new builds through to multi-storey commercial developments, heritage buildings, industrial facilities, university campuses, and large-scale public events.

If you need scaffold drawings for council submissions, load calculations for a stage build, documentation for tendering to subcontractors, or drawings for your own crews to build from — we can help. Our designs are practical, compliant, and built around how things actually go together on site.
